God paid a great PRICE to rescue us from ourselves and the consequences of our sins. He allowed His Son, Jesus, to suffer punishment and die so we don’t have to. Not only that, this death did not defeat Him. After three days, Jesus rose from the dead, alive again!

Now, your response is needed to benefit from this divine rescue:

Romans 10:9-10, 13 (NIV):

9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Your response can be as simple as “A-B-C.”

• Admit—that you are a sinner and cannot save yourself. You need to find forgiveness from God on His terms and then begin a growing relationship with Him.
• Believe—that Jesus is God’s Son, who died on the cross to rescue you from the penalty of your sinfulness and now lives to keep you in His holiness!
• Claim—His free gift of salvation as your own, by calling on the name of the Lord! (Romans 10:13)

Take this step of faith today. Trust in Jesus’ sacrifice to pay the penalty required by a Holy God. To do that, simply talk to God – this is called praying – and ask His forgiveness and help to get your life back on track. We suggest a prayer like this:

“Lord Jesus Christ, I admit that I am a sinner and I’m sorry for the things I have done wrong in my life. I believe you died on the cross to set me free from the penalty and power of my sins and then rose from the dead to live forever. Please forgive me, as I turn away from those wrong things to serve you. Please come and take control of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and be with me forever.

Thank you Lord Jesus, Amen.”
